ABOUT ME
Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Interdisciplinary Program of Biological Sciences at East Carolina University working in the Peralta micorbial ecology lab. I am also a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow.

My dissertation projects have covered a range of microbial processes including plant-microbe interactions and ecosystem functions related to carbon and nitrogen cycling.

In my free time, I experiment with mushroom cultivation, particularly edibles such as oysters, lion's mane, and shiitake and medicinals such as reishi and cordyceps.
